Description:
The ventral margin of the shell is broadly rounded. The lunule is well-defined and slightly depressed. The outside of the valves does not have any undulating grooves. The hinge is narrow and concentrated under the umbo of each valve. It does not have any lateral teeth. The pallial sinus is deep and markedly ascending. The internal margins of the shell are smooth. The outside of the shell is highly glossy with pale brown zigzag and lozenge-shaped markings
