Description:
The shell is medium-sized, oblong, solid, compressed, and quadriangular. It does not have a strong keel on the posterior dorsal margin. The umbo is small and situated anteriorly. The dorsal margin slopes posteriorly, while the ventral margin is nearly straight. The shell is marked by purplish rays against a dull white background. The periostracum is greenish-brown.
