Description:
The shell is medium-sized, solid, and thick. The left valve is quite curved and larger than the smaller, flat right valve. The outside is rough and eroded with small, radial spines. The inside is smooth and colorful. The color of the shell is creamy on a reddish base, with a shiny red interior and deep purple side bands.
