Description:
Shell medium, rather thick, ovate, equivalve, inequilateral, inflated.. Exterior ornamented with irregular concentric lamellae. Umbones form beak. Hinge with 3 cardinal teeth on the left valve, middle one very large. No lateral tooth. Pallial sinus rounded and deep. Interior smooth. Colour: exterior creamy-white, inside glossy chalky white.
