Description:
The ventral margin (the bottom edge of the shell) is roughly parallel to the dorsal margin (the top edge of the shell), and it is slightly contracted in the middle. The umbones are low and located behind the anterior of the shell length. The cardinal teeth are blade-like and fragile, with 2 in the left valve and 3 in the right valve. The internal surface of the shell is smooth. The adductor scars are subequal. The shell is elongate ovate in shape (long and oval). The pallial sinus is very shallow.
