Description:
Shell irregularly circular, ovate, inequivalve, right (lower) valve smaller than the left valve. Left valve convex, tumid, hooked towards the umbo, right valve radially striated. One large and two smaller muscle scars on the central inner shiny surface. Colour: outer surface golden-yellow,pale shiny band towards the umbones.
