Description:
Shell medium, thick, inflated,equivalve; outer surface sculptured by 24 broad, elevated, granulated radial ribs, radiating from the unbones.Radial ribs crossed by fine growth lines.Inner surface smooth. Ligament external; almost straight elongate hinge with numerous small transverse teeth. Two subequal adductor muscle scars and pallial line without a sinus. Colour. dirty white colour exterior, inner surface bright white.
