Description:
The axes have multiple siphons and are covered by cortex primarily in their lower parts. Towards the tips of the branches, there are clustered single-siphon filaments. The reproductive structures, known as stichidia, are tightly packed and straightforward, and the tetrasporangia are closely grouped. These plants exhibit a color spectrum ranging from light to deep red-brown.
