Description:
Initially, the texture is rubbery but later transitions to a spongy quality, forming cushion-like or undulating structures with irregular lobes. The tips of the utricles are rounded, and their walls gradually thicken, eventually developing lamellate features. There is a profusion of hairs (or scars). These plants have a color range from yellowish green to medium green and form a flat cushion-like growth on rocks.
