Description:
This gull has a slightly frightening aspect because to its pale button eyes. The head of a breeding adult is lighter near the bill and has the color of milk chocolate. First-winter birds and non-breeding birds have dark ear patches with faint hood traces. Though the smaller Black-headed Gull’s plumage may be fooled with any other, all plumages have more extensive black on the primaries and pale eyes.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It occurs in all wetlands from the Bay of Bengal coast to the Kaptai Lake, all major rivers and haor belts
