Description:
The body is oval, adorned with ctenoid scales on both surfaces. Eyes are situated on the right side of the body with a slight concave space between them. The mouth is small, curved, and its cleft extends below the midpoint of the lower eye. The upper eye is positioned ahead of the lower one and the upper jaw is slightly longer. There are numerous short tentacles on the side without eyes. The scales exhibit a pronounced ctenoid structure, extending to the dorsal and anal rays. Deep black blotches adorn the outer two-thirds of the pectoral fins.
