Description:
It is characterized by a narrowly concave interorbital space. There is no evident sexual dimorphism. The snout is prominent and the tip of the palatine bone distinctly protrudes into the mouth. There are 3–6 non-serrate gill rakers on the upper limb. Caudal fin features a pair of small black submarginal blotches and both the dorsal and anal fins exhibit a series of black spots.
