Shell medium, thick and solid. Spire somewhat large and straight, whorls with a distinct suture. Exterior with predominant axial sculpture. Apex not pointed. Body whorl large, rounded and with some obscure spiral ribs. Aperture narrow; outer lip remarkably thickened, inner margin with near about 11-13 lirae. Columella with four folds; anterior siphonal canal deep and short; posterior canal notched
