Description:
The shell is egg-shaped, thick, and inflated. It is rounded at the back and wider towards the sides. It has 30 prominent, deep, and narrow radial ribs. The back of the shell has small scales, while the rest of the shell is smooth. The outside of the shell is whitish, sometimes with dark spots. The inside of the shell is completely white.
