Description:
Axes are normally erect, with umbellate or unilateral branches, and a modest distal and vertical curvature. cylindrical segments, typically up to 12 mm in length. Transverse walls that are regular divide the lower segments. On intertidal rocks, thallus form closely spaced clusters up to 8 cm (perhaps larger). Medium to dark green thallus.
