Description:
The upper edge of the opercle ascends backward. Supracleithrum features a sharp spine at the rear end and one dorsal spine. The posterior nostril is a slit-like pore. There is one basipterygial process. The anterodorsal area between both lateral lines is devoid of scales. In terms of coloration, the upper head and back are a plain olive-brown. Soft dorsal fin appears dusky and both the pectoral and caudal fins range from dusky olive to black with the latter exhibiting a white posterior margin.
