Description:
There are two short tentacles, and the proboscis has small, short cone-shaped papillae. The feet are branched, with long setae. Both the dorsal and ventral cirri are quite small. The dorsal ligule is triangular and leaf-like. The dorsal setigerous lobe is elongated, widening at the tip in the front segments and split into two in the rear segments. The ventral setigerous lobe is trilobed in the front segments and either split into two lobes or vaguely trilobed in the back segments. The ventral lower ligule reduces in size towards the rear. There are a pair of anal cirri. In live specimens, each front segment exhibits a bright pink transverse line and a dark-red mid-dorsal line.
