The shell is of moderate size, compact, and exhibits a rounded and gently curved shape, with a relatively blunt apex. Its surface is adorned with granular patterns arranged in spiral rows. The columella is straight and typically features four denticles, while the aperture also has some denticulation, but the denticles are not as pronounced as those on the columella. The outer surface of the shell is dark grey and marked with dark red patches, as well as spiral rows of fine bead-like structures. In contrast, the aperture and columella have a white coloration. The basal side is dark grey and features bold red stripes.
