Description:
The dorsal fin lobe is less extended than the anal fin lobe and the pelvic fins are relatively short. The sides exhibit 1–5 petite black spots, each usually equivalent to or smaller than the diameter of the eye with half of the spot located below the lateral line. The caudal, second dorsal and anal fins appear grey to black with the lobes typically being darker. Pectoral fins are generally pale to dusky yellow, while pelvic fins are of a pale yellow to orange-yellow color.
