Description:
This organism is transparent and possesses deeply divided, forked fin-like structures known as parapodia. It has a prostomium, the anterior body segment, with a single pair of lensed eyes. There is one pair of unarticulated, tapering palps. The first body segment bears one pair of exceptionally long tentacular cirri. Notably, this organism is one of the few marine animals capable of emitting yellow bioluminescence.
