Description:
Shell small, solid, thin, oval-trigonal, posterior end slightly attenuated, anterior rounded. Radial ribs strong at the anterior and posterior ends, weaker in the middle portion where they cross by strong concentric growth lines; umbones almost at the middle, sharp outer margin, interior surface smooth. Hinge with 3 cardinal teeth, without lateral teeth. Colour: creamy-yellow with occasional dark brown blotches.
