In the male of this species, the right antenna (A1) is geniculate, displaying a distinct bend. The last somite of the prosome is pointed and slightly symmetrical in shape. On the left fifth pair of legs (P5), there is a thumb-like process on the basis, which is wide. The terminal segment of the left P5 is flattened and features four marginal spines. In contrast, the terminal segment of the right P5 is hook-like and sharply bent backward. The urosome in males is nearly symmetrical, with long and slender caudal rami.On the other hand, the female of this species is relatively large and robust in comparison. The posterior somite of the prosome extends into spines, providing a distinctive appearance. Within the fifth pair of legs (P5), the inner spine of segment 3 is longer than the two terminal spines, and these terminal spines are almost equal in length. The anal somite and the long, slender caudal rami exhibit asymmetry in the female.
