Description:
The anterior palatine teeth are not longer than the others. There are 3½ scales above the lateral line and the posterior part of the cheeks is covered with scales. The posterior pelvic process is wide. The body is a dusky pink on the upper side with pale blue-grey blotches and stripes. There are two small pigmented spots at the dorsoposterior corner of the operculum. The peritoneum is pale, featuring 9–11 peritoneal spots.
