Description:
Cells typically exhibit a cylindrical shape with conical projections culminating in an elongated structure that has a slender base, abruptly thickening for approximately half of its length (indicated by the arrow), before gradually narrowing again towards its distal end. There are no discernible otaria. These cells contain numerous small elliptical chloroplasts, with the nucleus positioned centrally in close proximity to the cell wall.
