Description:
Shell is small, squarely ovate and angulated at dorsal. Anterior is obtusely round, meaning the front of the shell is rounded and blunt. Beaks are fairly well elevated. Ligamental area is wide. Hinge line is straight with numerous teeth. Outer surface is black, and the inner surface is white.
