It has a firm body that is more or less quadrangular in cross-section and features a flattened trivium. The bivium is marked by a distinctive double row of large papillae, with each radius terminating in a small red or orange papilla. Stout podia are organized in a regular pattern along three radial bands, with 10 rows in the central-ventral band and 5 rows in the lateral bands. The mouth is located on the ventral side and is encircled by a row of papillae and 20 sturdy, green tentacles. The anus is situated at the terminal end. Notably, Cuvierian tubules are not present. The ossicles are characterized by tables that have a narrow disc showing 4 holes and a spire. There is a substantial number of C-shaped spicules, while rosettes are absent.
