Description:
The organism features a hemispherical bell with a lobed margin, although this may be challenging to discern in flattened specimens. It possesses two long tentacles that are notably persistent and often exhibit distinct bands. These tentacles originate from within the organism rather than from the outer margin. There are no secondary tentacles, tentacular bulbs, radial canals, or benthic polyps associated with this organism.The gonads are located on the manubrium, and it has a broad velum. The apical mesoglea, a gelatinous layer, is notably thick. The manubrium exhibits eight pouches. Notably, this organism lacks a peripheral canal system.
