Description:
In Rhopilema hispidum, the bell’s width varies between 250 and 340 mm. The oral arms conclude with a sizable club-shaped appendage featuring a faceted, swollen end. The exumbrella is adorned with numerous tiny, sharply pointed conical projections. Each octant is characterized by approximately 8 oblong, rounded velar lappets.
