Description:
The cells have two side columns of girdle segments. The striae come together in a line that runs up the center of the copula. The cross-section is somewhat elliptical, and the valve is conical with an oblique shape. The process is wider at the base and narrows suddenly into a tubular structure at the top. Otaria is of a small size and extends along the swollen part of the process.
