Description:
With its widely overlapping, substrate-free lobes, the thallus resembles a fungus. Thalli produce 1 mm thick, roughly round patches. The lobes of this slow-growing perennial display obvious concentric growth lines. Thalli have a diameter of 2–6 cm. Color range: olive brown to yellowish.
