Description:
Shell moderately large, solid, heavy and globose. Spire low with 4 whorls, each whorl armed with a series of erect, pointed, spirally arranged nodules; suture obscure. Body whorl large, shoulder with 10 to 12 low tubercles. Whole body with numerous blunt longitudinal spiral cords. Aperture large, ovate, outer and inner lips smooth; columella with folds; anterior siphonal canal deep, distinct and broad. Colour: surface light brownish with brown axial lines; aperture greyish-white; columellar lip reddish brown
