The shell is petite, spindle-shaped, and sturdy. The spire makes up roughly half of the overall height, with a depressed suture. It is adorned with axial nodes on the shoulder of each whorl and smooth spiral threads, though there’s no cord just below the suture. The aperture is broad, slightly concave, and typically has very few or no callus, with a slightly thickened outer lip and a deep posterior sinus, along with an elongated siphonal canal. The shell’s surface typically appears in a light brown color.
