Description:
The scale-covered ventral surface of the pelvis is noticeably wider at the front, tapering distinctly to a point towards the rear. In terms of coloration, the upper half of the head and body appears dusky silver, while the lower half is silvery, featuring large, elongate brown to orange blotches, typically with darker margins. The distal two-thirds of the first dorsal fin spine is usually blackish, and there is a dusky blotch on the pectoral fin.
