Description:
The prostomium has an entire anterior margin and is equipped with two pairs of eyes. There are four pairs of anterior cirri present. The maxillary ring features cones in area I, while areas II to IV contain either cones or pointed bars arranged in a comb-like series. In the areas IV, there are cones, merged cones, and pointed bars. The oral ring is characterized by cones, shield-shaped bars, or crescent-shaped bars in the areas VI, and P-bars and cones in the areas VII to VIII, with area V having or not having cones. Paragnaths in the areas VII to VIII are arranged in one or two bands.The notopodial dorsal ligules are foliose and have a pennant-like appearance in the posterior chaetigers. The presence or absence of a prechaetal notopodial lobe can vary. Neuroacicular lobes are bilobed, and a neuropodial postchaetal lobe is present, at least in the anterior chaetigers..
