Description:
The fish has a moderately deep, elongate, and laterally compressed body. It possesses an anal fin with 3 spines and 12–14 soft rays. There are 40–50 vertical scale rows, counted diagonally from the dorsal fin origin to the anus. The coloration includes a body, head, and iris of the eye in shades of pink to reddish or silvery white with pink tinges. The fins exhibit a pinkish color, and the pelvic fins are characterized by small deep purple to inky black spots in the membranes, with 1 or 2 larger spots in the connective membrane to the belly.
