Description:
Fin Formula: D-XII, 14; P1-17; P2-I, 5; A-III, 7; C-18-20; LL-52-53The body is elongate and compressed with a rounded shape. The mouth is small, and the lips are slightly thick. The maxilla extends below the front edge of the eye. Villiform teeth are present. The scales are ctenoid. The body is silvery, slightly darker on the back. There are yellow stripes below the lateral line. The dorsal fin is silvery, while the pectoral, pelvic, and anal fins are yellowish. The caudal fin is black with a white edge.
