Description:
Shell of medium size, thick, pyriformly ovate, spire low and bulbous. Aperture semilunar, umbilical area filled with broad and thick funicle. Surface smooth except for fine growth striae. Colour ivory white, often with yellowish tinge on the funicle. Operculum chitinous, light brown with a dark brown zone near the columellar edge.
