Description:
Colonies take on the structure of solid plates or exhibit a massive, encrusting or columnar growth pattern. Valleys are generally elongated and relatively straight along the colony periphery, transitioning to shorter, sinuous and contorted shapes toward the center of the colony. The walls are characterized by their thinness and the septa display a high degree of irregularity.
