The aperture takes on an oval to lyre-shaped form and has a ribbed inside lip with clear spiral ridges. The columella is short and ends in a truncate manner, featuring small teeth. There’s a V-shaped anterior canal and a shallowly grooved posterior canal. The operculum is thin, chitinous, and horn-like. The shell has a narrow umbilicus. Its coloration includes a purplish to brown hue on the body surface, with light grey or whitish spots on the cords, which can be either abundant or scattered. The inner edge of the outer lip and the base of the columella are purplish-brown, while the aperture, columella, and parietal callus are whitish.
