The shell has an elongated and thick shape with 13-15 flattened whorls. It features an oblique aperture, and the outer lip is broad, extending forward with a noticeable anterior canal. The columella is straight, and the outer lip is thick with a short and distinct anterior siphonal canal. The shell’s color is typically dark brown, sometimes with whitish markings above the suture and dirty white nodules in between brown areas. The interior of the aperture is white, and the operculum is spherical with a central nucleus.
