The openings of Cliona vestifica on the shell’s surface exhibit an irregular arrangement, and the chambers within the shell take on rounded, elliptical, or irregular shapes. The living organism displays a pale yellow coloration. Its skeleton comprises three distinct types of siliceous spicules: tylostyles, oxeas, and spirasters. Tylostyles are straight with sharp points and feature spherical heads. Oxeas belong to the amphioxea type and can be either smooth or microspined.
