Description:
The carapace of this crab has a very small, dotted surface. The margins of the external maxillipeds are also very small and dotted, and the exopod is square-shaped and shovel-like. The anterolateral margin is slightly wavy, and the posterolateral margin is arched.The fused male abdominal segments 3-6 have granulate basal knobs that are separated by a concavity. Lower margin is bicarinate (has two ridges) in males, but unicarinate (has one ridge) in females.
