The carapace and abdomen of this species lack any dark brown transverse bands and are uniformly smooth. Fully grown females are distinguished by a uniformly high proximal part of the triangular rostrum. The rostrum typically features 7 or 8 dorsal teeth and 5 or 6 ventral teeth, without any lateral spines on the telson.
In terms of coloration, these organisms, when alive, display a creamy to yellow hue, sometimes with minute speckles of brown, olive green, or light green pigments. Their antennules are marked with brown bands, while their antennae are brown without banding. The legs and pleopods exhibit a yellowish color, occasionally tinged with brown or pink. Uropods show combinations of yellowish green and brownish shades. Fully grown individuals have a brown fringe along the upper margin of the rostrum.
