Description:
Fin Formula: D 1 – Vlll; D 2- 9; P 1 – 16; P 2-l, 5; A-I, 7; C-18. Branchiostegal Rays: 3. Colour of body brownish-white above and silvery white below; a horizontally elongated yellow spot on middle of back centered on lateral line; a black spot posteriorly on caudal peduncle; upper part of head with light blue lines; fins hyaline. Barbels extending slightly behind hind margin of preoperculum.
