Description:
Shell medium, solid, compressed, moderately inflated, ovate-elliptical. Lunule elongate. Ventral margin gently curved; posterior end slightly angulated. Umbones low anteriorly. Numerous smooth, concentric growth ridges present. Hinge with 3 cardinal teeth, without the lateral teeth. Colour: creamy, pale yellow or pinkish-brown, often marked with brown or reddish-brown rays.
