When seen from the girdle, this organism takes on a trapezoidal shape, and its curved valve displays a central depression. The valve is distinctly fasciculated, with a less prominent annulus. Its dimensions vary, with a length along the apical axis ranging from 58 to 288 µm and a width along the transapical axis spanning from 32.5 to 158 µm. In the central area, there are 6-9 areolae within a 10 µm span, while at the valve’s margin, there are 10-13 areolae.
