Description:
The upper lip is convex and has distinct indentations on a bluntly tapering skull. On the forehead, the blowhole is situated somewhat to the left. In particular, the head and flippers of males are larger than those of females. Broad flukes have a distinct median notch and are incredibly well-developed. There are ten or twelve big conical teeth on the lower and upper jaws, respectively. Teeth have a small inward and backward curvature. Jet black with distinct white areas that contrast sharply with the white underbelly, which stretches from the bottom of the lower jaw to the start of the flippers and narrows along the ventral ridge to just beyond the anus.
