Description:
The oral plates are short, and the teeth are square-shaped and thick. There is a single lateral oral papilla located towards the outer part, and there are no infradental papillae. The oral shields are wider than they are long, while the adoral shields are broader towards the outer end and meet in front of the oral shields.The dorsal arm plates are fan-shaped, broader than they are long, with a straight inner edge and a curved outer edge. The ventral arm plates are rectangular and positioned at the base of the arm. Each arm has four spines, occasionally five, and they are as long as or longer than the arm segment, with the uppermost spine being the longest. There is a single scale on the tentacle.
