Description:
Shell cylindrical or slightly ovate. Spire relatively short, apex slightly extended; 3 whorls. Body whorl large, shoulder flat; posterior end ends in a callus. Aperture elongate with a narrow groove at the posterior end; outer lip thick, smooth and polished, inner lip lirae confined to the anterior half of the aperture. Colour: exterior yellowish-brown with fine reddish-brown reticulation. Two darker bands encircle the body whorl. Columellar callus bright orange-red or dull orange. Aperture whitish.
