Description:
Shell medium, solid, polished and thick. Spire small; pointed apex; 3-4 whorls with deep suture, large and bulbous or inflated body whorl. Aperture elongate, outer lip thick with a blunt edge, columella with the callus, inner lip lirate. Siphonal canal deep and wide. A sharp diagonal ridge present at the top of the fasciole. Colour: variable; typically brown with numerous deep brown to pink spots or lines;
